Carole Demas (red) bio pic smaller Carole’s 50+year career includes: her creation of “Sandy” in Broadway’s original Grease; thousands of leading role performances on and Off-Bway (including two years as “Luisa” in The Fantasticks NYC) and in regional theater. She originated The Baker’s Wife title role in LA; Champlain and NY Shakespeare Festivals soloist. Starred in: TV’s classic children’s show, The Magic Garden; numerous prime time/daytime TV (recently Blue Bloods);  starred in PBS’s Showstoppers- The Best of Broadway;  200+ TV commercials, jingles, voice- overs. Featured in Schirmer, Citadel, Applause books chronicling Broadway trials/triumphs.

Recently inducted into The LI Music Hall of Fame with Magic Garden’s Paula Janis. Broadway Cares Grease 40th Anniversary Tribute; Bway To Barbados; Town Hall Bway By The Year; Merkin Hall Off-Bway Close-Up; 50th Anniversary Concerts for Lincoln Center Library, WBAI; numerous other concert/cabaret performances.  Carole and husband Stuart Allyn live with 2 cats and Carole’s turtle friend of 50 years (and counting). www.caroledemas.com
